Cauble Park is a 25-acre park contains fishing points, public restrooms, a boardwalk, a beach, rental facilities, two playgrounds, and an open play area.

This day use park's main attraction is its large swimming beach.  

Dallas Park also has picnic tables with grilles, a volleyball court and a horse shoe pit available. If you want to have a large party in the park, there is a group pavilion available for rent.

The quarter of an acre park contains a fountain and benches for relaxation. The downtown park also contains the original bell from the Acworth Methodist Episcopal Church South. The church congregation was established in 1905.

Homer Leggett Memorial Park in Hiram is a family-friendly destination that offers a delightful playground and a scenic walking trail. 

Lake Acworth is a picturesque 260-acre man-made lake situated southwest of Acworth, Georgia, and adjacent to Allatoona Lake. Separated from Allatoona Lake by a 1,500-foot dam, Lake Acworth boasts an abundant variety of fish species, making it a popular fishing destination. Anglers can enjoy catching bluegill, largemouth bass, redear sunfish, black crappie, and more. Boating on Lake Acworth is restricted to electric or trolling motors only, ensuring a peaceful and serene experience without the disturbance of gas-powered motors or personal watercraft.

Lake Ramona is a private Christian-owned & operated property and is only open to the public on scheduled Saturdays shown above.   By reservation and on Saturdays only, the property is available for Large private group rentals and special events.

Pickett’s Mill is one of the best preserved Civil War battlefields in the nation. Visitors can travel roads used by Federal and Confederate troops, see earthworks constructed by these men, and walk through the same ravine where hundreds died. An authentic 1800s pioneer cabin is furnished and open for tours during certain events.

The park offers a convenient picnic pavilion where visitors can enjoy outdoor meals and gatherings, along with 15 soccer fields that are exclusively available for league play through the Southern Soccer Academy. Additionally, the park features the "Playground of Dreams," providing a whimsical and imaginative play area for children, as well as another playground for additional recreational options. Sara Babb Park is a beautiful park with the following activities for all ages: 3 lighted tennis courts, 3 baseball/softball fields, 2 volleyball courts, indoor pavilion, outdoor pavilions, a playground, and bicycle and walking trails.

The Silver Comet Trail is a paved abandoned railroad bed that brings together cyclists, nature lovers, physical fitness enthusiasts, and horseback riders to enjoy the beautiful north Georgia countryside.

Additionally, visitors can make use of the picnic pavilion for outdoor gatherings, two soccer fields available for league play through the West Metro Soccer Association, three baseball/softball fields, four lighted tennis courts for enthusiasts to enjoy a match, a gym for fitness activities, a playground for children to have fun, and a scenic walking trail spanning 1.25 miles, providing ample opportunities for outdoor recreation and enjoyment.
