Description
We will have over 2,600 Team Member opportunities available to serve the more than 1,750 families expected to attend Hope for Christmas at this site, West Ridge Church. We will need everyone involved to accomplish the task.
Team Members for “Team Member Childcare”, “Secret Santa Shop”, "Host Families" and "Event Security" must be pre-screened by West Ridge Church. After you register to volunteer, you will receive a separate email with instructions to complete this process. If you register for a "Floater" shift, this is a background check optional area. Having a background check on file with West Ridge church greatly increases the areas where you can serve. If you do not wish to complete a background check, that's ok we still need you and will find an area for you!
There will be childcare available for Team Members working at Hope for Christmas on December 14th. This is for children birth through 5th grade; however, you must pre-register your children to use this service. Select the registration link below or in your confirmation email to register for childcare for the all-volunteer meeting or Hope for Christmas. Note: On Saturday Dec 14th, childcare is only available between 8:30 a.m. & 7:30 p.m. A suggested donation of $3 per child is requested. Lunch or dinner will be provided for your child if you volunteer over a meal time. If childcare is needed for either the volunteer meeting or the day of Hope for Christmas, you will need to pre-register for childcare using this link: Childcare Registration
If your 1st-5th grade child will be volunteering with you at Hope for Christmas, please be sure and select a "Kid Volunteer" ticket for your child so we can be prepared to have them as part of our team.
Without the dedication and tireless enthusiasm of our Team Members, Hope for Christmas could not provide its services. Team Members are an integral part of our organization, and their contributions are invaluable and much appreciated. For those team members serving two or more time slots the day of Hope for Christmas, we will provide lunch or dinner. If you are working one shift, please eat before or after your shift.
We will be selling Hope for Christmas t-shirts and hoodies beginning October 20th in the West Ridge atrium between each of the three services. We will have child and adult sizes available.
If you are volunteering on December 14th, PLEASE mark your calendar, and plan to attend the 2024 MANDATORY TEAM MEMBER MEETING on Sunday December 8th. We will meet in the Worship Center at 2:30- 4:30 P.M. to discuss our game plan. This meeting is very important for all people volunteering on December 14th, whether you are a new or veteran Hope for Christmas Team Member. Childcare will be provided during the meeting. Please eat prior to attending this meeting as there will be no food provided during the meeting.
If childcare is needed for either the team member meeting or the day of Hope for Christmas, you will need to pre-register for childcare using this link: Childcare Registration
