The Acworth Parks, Recreation, and Community Resource Department is excited to host our annual Mother-Son Camp Out at Proctor Landing from Saturday, September 14 through Sunday, September 15. It's the perfect opportunity for moms and sons to spend quality time together in the great outdoors! Mother-Son Camp Out takes place at Proctor Landing Park, located at 5260 Proctor Landing Rd Acworth, GA 30101.
In the event of rain, activities will still be held throughout the day and camping will be optional that evening. This event may be canceled if lightning/thunderstorms are forecasted for the whole weekend.

Tent and air mattress rentals are also available at a limited quantity.
Participants will camp alongside the beautiful Lake Allatoona while learning aboutnature and a participating in a variety of outdoor activities!
The event will begin at 12:00 p.m. with check in and campsite set up. Dinner will be provided, as well as breakfast the following morning. Not an experienced camper? No worries! We will have experienced volunteers available to assist with setting up each campsite.
