Concert on the Green: A Juneteenth Celebration
Concert on the Green: A Juneteenth Celebration will take place at Logan Farm Park on Saturday, June 15, 2024. The event opens at 5:00 p.m. with live music taking place from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Food and refreshments will be available for purchase. This year, Bogey and the Viceroy will headline the concert event during an evening filled with fun and celebration of freedom and community!
Summer Downtown Classic Car Cruise
On Saturday, June 29,and Saturday, August 31, Acworth will host a Classic Car Cruise in Downtown Acworth. The event will be held from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Logan Farm Park (4405 Cherokee Street). The Lake City Cruisers partner with the City and the downtown Acworth merchants to hold these Classic Car Cruises.
The event is free to the public. A $5 entry fee is requested for all vehicles in the cruise. All proceeds go to the Horizon Field, an all-inclusive special needs sports facility in Acworth.
Daddy Daughter Date Night
The City of Acworth will host a Daddy Daughter Date Night at Tanyard Creek Overlook on Saturday, June 08 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. This special event is the perfect night out for girls up to 14 years of age and their dad or adult male chaperone. Daddy-Daughter duos can come dressed in their best DISCO threads for the event. Attendees will create precious memories as we enjoy an elegant dinner and some evening entertainment. The cost is $40 per couple for City of Acworth residents and $50 for non-
residents.

July 4 th Concert and Fireworks
Let freedom Ring! The City of Acworth and the Acworth Business Association are proud to present one of the largest fireworks extravaganzas in Metro Atlanta.
Each year on July 4th, live music and fireworks take place at Cauble Park. Live music will start at 5:30 p.m. Fireworks will begin at approximately 9:30 p.m. (subject to change depending on weather).
Admission to the event and concert is free!
If you do not have a parking pass or if the parking is full, you will need to park downtown and walk down to the park. Shuttles will not be running for this event. Handicap parking will be available at McCall Primary School and there will be a shuttle provided for handicapped attendees. Handicap shuttles begin at noon.
Acworth Farmers Market
The 2024 Historic Downtown Acworth Farmer’s Market will take place on Friday mornings between April 5 and October 25 from 8:00 a.m. to noon. The market is located in the Logan Farm Park Expansion, located at 4405 Cherokee Street in Acworth.
Market customers will have a wide variety of garden ripe Georgia-grown vegetables, eggs, cheese, bedding plants, fresh-baked bread, pies, cakes, honey, and jams to choose from each week. This year’s market will be bigger and better than previous years and shoppers won’t believe the selection of homegrown goodies!

Horizon Kickball League
The Horizon Kickball League is a program for youth and adults ages 5 years and older with cognitive and physical challenges. Games are non-competitive and teams are set up according to abilities rather than age. Each player on the roster gets on base before the opposing team gets to kick. Games will be held indoors at the Acworth Community Center. No games will be held the week of the 4th of July.

Join us every third Wednesday of the month for the City of Acworth’s Senior Luncheon. Come join us for lunch and Bingo. This program is free to all seniors, but you must RSVP to attend. Reservations can be made starting the first of the month.

Acworth Summer Sports Camps
Registration for Acworth’s annual Summer Camp Sports Series begins April 8 for residents and April 15 for non-residents. Each camp focuses on fundamentals and skills of a different sport. Each camp is $50 for City of Acworth residents and $60 for non-residents. All participants will receive an official Acworth Sports Camp swag item. Camp schedules, locations, and age groups are below:
