The American Legion Auxiliary will be sponsoring a Food Drive from May 12 until 26, 2024 to assist local summer lunch and food pantry programs.
A donation box for will be in the Event Hall of American Legion Post 111 at 2587 Scoggins Road, Dallas, GA 30157. Non-perishable items will be accepted Monday through Friday from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM and on Weekends from 1:00 PM until 6:00 PM.
Some suggested items include the following:
• Fruit Items - Fruit cups, Applesauce & Fruit Snacks
• Individually Packaged Snacks - Cookies, Brownies & Rice Krispie Treats
• Salty Snacks - Single Size Servings - Chips, Pretzels, Cheese & Crackers
• Juice Boxes - Capri-Sun, Kool-Aid Jammers, Juicy Juice, Minute Maid
• Packing supplies - Ziplock Bags, Lunch Bags
