Oh, Wyndham Alltra Cancun, the all-inclusive paradise I fell in love with! Join me as I recount the wonderful five nights and six days I spent in this tropical haven with fellow Macaroni Kid Publishers. It was the perfect escape that rejuvenated my mind, body, and spirit, and I can't wait to share the experience with you.

Comfy Accommodations
As a mom, even when I take a break for myself, I can't help but think about how my family would enjoy the experience. Wyndham Alltra Cancun's accommodations put my mind at ease. The rooms are not only spacious but also offer beautiful views. Whether you wake up to a balcony overlooking the kids' area, a pool, or the ocean, you know you're in for a fantastic day. Plus, the resort is incredibly family-friendly, with wide hallways and accessible shared areas for strollers or wheelchairs. The rooms themselves are a home away from home, complete with a daily-refilled mini bar and room service available from 7 am to 11 pm. It's perfect for those lazy days, working remotely, or just indulging yourself because you can.

Entertainment and Classes
One of the things I love about all-inclusive resorts is that you don't have to worry about a thing—just pay and enjoy (and don't forget those small bills for tips). While I cherish the moments by the ocean, sipping on a frozen cocktail and reading a book, knowing there are plenty of other options is a bonus. At Wyndham Alltra, the options are endless. We started our trip by painting hats and bonding over creativity, wine, and laughter. It was a fantastic icebreaker. As the days went on, we sang karaoke, enjoyed live music, and even learned to make shrimp ceviche while overlooking the ocean. Fun and fantastic food—what more could you ask for? And there are just as many options for the kids, like the Pirate Rally, where they made adorable pirate hats, ensuring smiles all around for children and parents alike.

Sand and Beach
I must admit, I'm not always a fan of sand because, well, it can be messy. But at Wyndham Alltra Cancun, it was a different story. The sand was soft and perfect, and the crystal-clear water was mostly calm. We had a blast swimming out to the sandbars, and there was hardly any seaweed to be seen—major plus! The beach service was exceptional; I brought my tumbler, and our beachside waitress kept it filled with the most amazing strawberry daiquiris. She even kindly helped me with sunscreen one morning when I was out early. If you're looking for a cabana, no worries, they're right on the beach, offering shade or sunbathing options. And let's not forget about the Taco Salsa beach stand; their mushroom taco is a must-try. And if you finish your book, there's a little library—it's all about relaxation.

Friendly Service
The warmth and friendliness of the staff at Wyndham Alltra Cancun were remarkable. From the moment we arrived, the bellhops greeted us with smiles. Check-in was a breeze, and I highly recommend purchasing the bracelet that doubles as a room key—it's called 'The Key to your heart.' Not only does it make your stay more convenient, but it also contributes to the Cancun Pro Kids Foundation, and it's reusable for future visits, making for a great souvenir. The bartenders and wait staff were gracious and helpful, and the VIP bar offered personalized service with a touch of elegance.

For the Kids
While I enjoyed my girls' trip immensely, I couldn't help but think about how much fun my family would have here. Wyndham Alltra Cancun has something for everyone. There's Camp Alltra for ages 4 to 12, offering activities, crafts, movies, a playground, and attentive camp staff. For teens aged 13 to 17, there's #Hashtag, which includes video games, air hockey, gaming systems, virtual reality, and more. Family time is precious, and here, you can enjoy it to the fullest. All the pools are kid-friendly, with a pirate ship and seven water slides that promise hours of family fun. And if you're worried about grabbing a quick meal without interrupting the fun, The Dog House serves hamburgers and hot dogs, while Cravings offers ice cream and candies for the little ones.

My stay at Wyndham Alltra Cancun was a dream come true. A short flight from Atlanta, this resort offers the perfect getaway that feels like summer all year long. Whether you're a parent seeking family-friendly adventures or simply yearning for some well-deserved relaxation, this all-inclusive paradise has something for everyone. Recharge your spirit, make new memories, and look forward to the day when you can bring your family along for the ride. It's an experience you won't want to miss.
