Tellus: A Gem for Little (and Big!) Explorers

Hosted Review

By Meg Jollett February 25, 2017

We loved visiting the Tellus Museum over the Winter Break. We dug for fossils (and took home a sharks tooth!).  We explored space and learned about space travel and technology.  We marveled at the modernization of vehicles.  We ventured into the Collins Family Backyard where we learned about sounds and magnetism (you have to play with the magnetic crane!)  and of course, we ended our day by panning for gems (my little guy's favorite!).

Nursing mom tip: Go to the family restroom by the cafe.  There's a huge bench inside perfect for sitting for a minute to nurse your little one.

It was a perfect day and an easy field trip to take with a baby in tow.  Check out the video below and you'll see what I mean!

The Tellus Museum is located right up I-75 at 100 Tellus Dr in Cartersville.  You can find more information including their hours and rates HERE.

I was provided with tickets in order to facilitate this review.  Any and all thoughts and opinions are my own.
