PAULDING AND COBB COUNTY CAMPS

CAMP GIDEON DISCOVERY DAY CAMP (ACWORTH)

Camp Gideon's Discovery Day Camp is a five-day program where campers experience a variety of outdoor camp activities under the guidance and supervision of trained and qualified leadership. Activities include fishing, canoeing, swimming, paddle boats, rock wall climbing, sports and recreation, crafts, nature exploration, music, arts and more! Check-in begins at 7:30am and dismissal is at 4pm. Lunch is not provided, so please send a lunch and a cold drink. After-hours care is available until 6pm. The cost is $10/day for the first child and $6 per day for each additional child. Let us know in advance if your child will need after-hours care.

ART CAMP (MULTIPLE PAULDING COUNTY LOCATIONS)

Students age 6 & up are encouraged to bring out their inner artist in this 4 day introductory art camp. Different mediums such as watercolors, blending pencils, and colored pencils will be used. BACKYARD SPORTS CAMP (DALLAS)

Summer is a great time to play outside! Does your child love games/sports? This is the camp for them! We will put our creative minds together and share ideas to create new backyard games as well as play traditional ones.

BUILDER BUNCH CAMPS (KENNESAW, MARIETTA, CUMMING AND MORE!)

Atlanta’s premier camp for children who love to learn and play with LEGO® bricks. Our Camps offer a one of a kind experience. Classes are designed to improve spatial learning, problem solving skills, and creativity. Our programs infuse engineering and architectural principles with LEGO® building in a fun and engaging curriculum that leaves a lot of room for creativity!

camp acworth (acworth)

Camp Acworth is a summer day camp that provides a safe and active environment for your children ages 6 - 14 (Children attending 1st - 8th grade in upcoming school year) to enjoy their summer. Campers will enjoy various outdoor activities including swimming, canoeing, hiking and archery, as well as arts and crafts and team sport activities. Each week campers go on a field trip to exciting places like Stars and Strikes, Georgia Aquarium, and the World of Coke. Weekly guests will visit Camp Acworth and teach kids a variety of subjects, ranging from public safety to performing arts.

CRAFTS CAMP (POWDER SPRINGS)

Students design their own creations using various materials such as shells, salt ceramics, papier-mâché, and much more. Campers will also create original artwork while learning drawing skills.

DANCE, CHEER & BATON CAMP (DALLAS)

This camp will teach children 4 - 12 years old basic jazz, and dance routines, basic CHEER skills and introduce baton twirling. A show for parents and friends will be held at 11:15 a.m. on the last day. Students need to wear comfortable clothing and tennis shoes. Students are not required to bring their own batons or pompoms, but are encouraged to do so if they have them.

HIP HOP AND CHEER DANCE CAMP (POWDER SPRINGS)

The ultimate exploration of Hip Hop and Cheer Dance! No previous dance experience necessary! This camp will focus on the basics of Hip Hop Dancing and CHEER dance skills. A show for parents and friends will be held on the last day! Students are to wear comfortable clothing and tennis shoes.

princess camp (Dallas)

This camp has everything little girls love…pretend, dance, music, dress up, a tea party, princess stories, and crafting princess accessories. Children will spend their time “being princesses” while learning proper manners, self esteem, social interaction with others, coordination , dance movements, and motor control skills. On the last morning of camp, each princess will participate in the “crowning ceremony” where she will be introduced and given her “crown”, a gift and certificate to show her successful completion of Princess Camp. The week ending highlight of this camp will be a Saturday “PRINCESS BALL”.

Heroes are not only in the movies and cartoons, but they are in our everyday life and history. This is a fun, action oriented camp that little boys and girls will love because it has play, games, activities, and fun… themed around ALL different types of heroes with a positive message each day. Boys and girls have an opportunity to dress up as their favorite hero, depending on the theme of the day. Parents: “Super Hero Camp” is a drop off camp for the boys and girls. So to avoid any anxiety, please be sure your child is potty trained and ready for this type of camp and let them know in advance you will not be staying.

THEATER CAMP (POWDER SPRINGS)

Build self-confidence while having fun! Students will learn about all aspects of theater including stage design, acting skills, and performance techniques. At the conclusion of camp students will perform a play and musical number and present their talents in a wonderful showcase on a stage for an audience of friends and family!
