Over the past 20 years, McKenna Farms has become a well-known and well-loved community asset, serving children with a variety of developmental delays, disabilities, and neurological disorders, including autism, cerebral palsy, down syndrome, traumatic brain injuries, and genetic or chromosomal abnormalities. Today, more than 500 children visit the farm each week for physical therapy, speech therapy, and occupational therapy, as well as equine-assisted activities including hippotherapy and therapeutic riding.
